It’s October and That Means Haunted Houses are Back
When October rolls around, it can mean certain things for different people. Some of us really get into the Halloween spirit and decorate our houses, dress in costume, visit haunted houses, or we do all of the above. While I’m not personally familiar with the psychological aspects of fear and the rush it gives people, there are many people who enjoy the rush that the feeling of fear brings. As such, there is usually a steady stream of people lined up around the country to enter into the copious amounts of haunted houses that pop up.
These places of fear can range from tame to demented and some can even come with disclaimers that say you could actually end up being harmed during the tour. Having to sign a disclaimer may be a turn-off to some people, but there are still enough out there to keep these houses going. The same that can be said of haunted houses can be said of almost any kind of amusement park. There is always a chance to get hurt while you are being entertained.
Premises Liability
When it comes to injuries while on other people’s property, these injuries may fall under premises liability laws. A person who owns the property where you had your accident may be held responsible for certain types of injuries. Of course, this depends on a number of factors like the reason you were on the property and other things. If you have been injured on another person’s property, you may want to talk to us. The first consultation is always on the house and we don’t get paid unless you do. Helping injured Texans is what we are all about, so let us help you.
