A Stretch of Highway 71 near Brady, TX became the scene of an 18-wheeler accident the set the truck ablaze and sent one person to the hospital on April 30th. At approximately 10 in the morning, the Brady fire and EMS arrived to help at the truck accident.  While not many details have been given regarding the accident, an article by San Angelo Live stated that a passenger vehicle collided head on with a semi-truck. When EMS first arrived, the driver of the truck was outside watching it as it was consumed in flames. the driver of the car was incapacitated by injuries and trapped inside the vehicle. The driver was removed from the car and taken to the Heart of Texas hospital. According to authorities, another wreck occurred in the same area about 4 hours later but no one was injured.
