Major Accident at Intersection
San Angelo live reported on March 15, 2018, that a driver of a white pickup truck ran a red light, and barely missed an 18 wheeler that was traveling across the intersection of SH 137 but struck another pickup.

According to San Angelo Live, around 5 PM Thursday evening, a car crash between an SUV and an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 claimed the life of one victim. The accident occurred in the big spring area.
18-Wheeler Closes Down Interstate
According to the Big Country Homepage, an 18-wheeler jackknifed on interstate 20 recently and caused all lanes to be shut down and traffic that was heading west to be diverted. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. near mile marker 287.
